Reclaim Your Money is an impartial guide to getting back those unfair bank charges! For too long, members of the public have been treated poorly by the banks to whom they have stayed loyal customers with for years.
When I first read about being able to claim back these charges, I quickly dug out my old statements and calculated over £1700 in charges had been levied against me in the past six years. Seems a lot when the most I ever exceeded my authorised overdraft limit by was £70!
I have collated this guide to speed the process of getting those charges back. I have included template letters, common brush-offs the banks will attempt and a full guide to what happens if it goes as far as court (don't worry, it doesn't usually make it this far!).
